The Archive’s mission is to preserve the University’s legacy and provide a resource to current students with information regarding defense acquisition trends and Department of Defense Standards. I Implement LOC finding aid standards (EAD), direct the library cataloger (Sirsi Workflows), prioritize and promote digitization of collections, implement Safety and Disaster Recovery Plan, assist in creation of Archive Policy within larger Operations Manual, and accession and process donations.

Processed State Government Records within the Descriptive Services Department at the Library of Virginia. The records are mended and organized in preparation of filming/digitization.

Developing a grant proposal to digitize the Thomas Jefferson Foundation Archives, negotiated with the Foundation regarding the importance of digitizing, used database LUNA Imaging 7.0.

Processed, accessioned, and cataloged previous students’ published artwork, reviewed and processed the metadata of the archive’s online digitized photographs, used Archivists’ Toolkit.

Created a finding aid using EAD with ISAD(G) in Oxygen for a collection of centuries worth of club minutes, membership lists, fees, guidelines for the University of Edinburgh Club of London.
